If you are seeing an error message when trying to reach certain library resources, the most likely cause is a firewall, security program, privacy program, or ad-blocker. Fortunately, almost all such programs can be modified in a minimally intrusive manner to allow access to library resources. This is usually a better option than turning off the software entirely.
